Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb.
71. Mereka menjawab, “Kami menyembah berhala-berhala dan kami senantiasa tekun menyembahnya.”
72. Dia (Ibrahim) berkata, “Apakah mereka mendengarmu ketika kamu berdoa (kepadanya)?”
73. “atau (dapatkah) mereka memberi manfaat atau mencelakakan kamu?”
74. Mereka menjawab, ”Tidak, tetapi kami dapati nenek moyang kami berbuat begitu.”
75. Dia (Ibrahim) berkata, “Apakah kamu memperhatikan apa yang kamu sembah?”
76. “Kamu dan nenek moyang kamu terdahulu?”
Wallahu alam bishawab.

Body, Mind, and Soul. A Step Closer to Human Extinction.
The Body, the mind, and the soul are three main building blocks of complete mankind.
The absence of a single building factor will strip human’s unity.
People have to struggle to defeat themselves in order to reach complete unity.
That’s something that everyone knows.
But in the other side, there is something that challenges our existence as human.
And it is technology.
Well, technology is definitely a two headed sword.
One can use for improvement one can use for destruction.
But even for the sake of improvement, if not utilized wisely, technology can be a problematic tool for humans as a whole.
Let’s go back to the body, mind, and soul topic. (I have a reason why I put them in this arrangement)
1. The Body
James Watt's invention of steam machine started the industrial revolution.
This event has stripped the human existence as “body” workers for the sake of industrial efficiency.
2. The Mind
The field of Artificial Intelligence has enabled people to program machines that can think, even smarter than humans.
Slowly but sure, this technology can be a great challenge to human “mind”.
As those robots think better than human, why people would hire human if they can operate "thinking" robots at a lower cost?
I know some might think that this anxiety is way too far, but everyone knows that technology makes everything possible. It is just a matter of time.
3. The Soul
I believe this is the real asset of the mankind.
Even though there will be a time at which we can create a technology that can clone soul.
I believe it will take sometimes.
Humans that have soul and master technology more likely will try to do something to prevent this.
If even the “soul” part can be replicated by artificial entities, then humans have a big problem. They have nothing left. The “body” ability has been replaced by the machines, the “mind” ability just about to be stripped by thinking machines, and hopefully the “soul” technology won’t emerge.
I tell my thought to a friend and he said, “You know, I wouldn't care. By the time your “soul” technology exists, there is a big possibility that I am already dead. But those who have kids should be worried LOL”.
Hmmh... interesting... Well let see...
Anyway have a nice long weekend guys,
